Welcome
to the FODP
Welcome to the SLOA Football Official
Development Program (FODP). We are pleased that you are
interested in officiating football at the high school level
in Missouri. The FODP is a comprehensive program that is
devoted to training, mentoring and recruiting officials for
the advancement of high school football in Missouri.
We hope that we will be able to help
you achieve your own goals while advancing the game of
football in a positive and professional manner.

FODP
Training Objectives:
- Introduce football officials to the
core competencies of officiating (knowledge, application,
and comportment) over a 3 year period.

Help develop a solid understanding of NFHS rules
and mechanics in accordance with Missouri State High
School Activities Association
(MSHSAA).
- Utilize fellow officials, as
advisors and group leaders, who demonstrate and teach the
core competencies of officiating in a professional and
positive manner.
